Every year for the past 10+ years, hubs has participated in the Scott Firefighter Stairclimber in Seattle, WA. Firefighter participants, from around the World, climb 1600+ stairs in all of their gear and on air to bring awareness and donations to the Leukemia/Lymphoma society. This is a serious feat and hubs smashes it every year. He usually completes the stair-climb in 13-15 minutes. This usually puts him as one of the top 20 finishers of all the competitors. Not bad for a 44 year old fart. We are very proud of him and can’t wait to cheer him on this weekend.
We will not be baking this weekend because of the stairclimb. But, I will return on Monday and feed my starter as soon as I return with plans for baking on Tuesday.
